About Kate

Kate started out in the commercial modelling industry after winning the Face of Leicester in 2002; she spent a year appearing on billboards, in magazines and even on the side of a bus! In 2004 she won Miss Leicestershire and was placed 2nd in Miss England. 

Having represented the UK in International competitions Kate was invited to host local events and award shows which lead to her realising her dream for presenting. For the past 6 years Kate has hosted events all over England such as the Mr & Miss England competition, stage shows at the Clothes show live, showcases, fashion shows and has co-hosted with Roy Walker & Nicky Hambleton-Jones. She has filmed segments with the BBC, SONY Asian television and appeared on GMTV last summer as a movie critique. 

Kate is a qualified Primary school teacher, but now runs a Promotional Model agency in the Midlands whilst pursuing her career as a presenter. 

As well as her passion for music, fashion & beauty, Kate is a keen driver who regularly attends track days to help challenge her enthusiasm; Kate also belongs to a street dance squad who are currently the Midlands Champions. Whilst backpacking around Australia, New Zealand, Fiji & America, Kate did her first sky-dive and is still buzzing from the adrenalin! She has scuba dived in Australia, snowboarded in Dubai and will try anything once...and if she likes it, she may just try it again
