Following a week presenting Blue Peter when they had narrowed down their search for a new presenter to the final 4, Jonas went on to work as a Presenter for ITV2 and was the face of its’ launch. FIVE News followed where he covered their Sport and Entertainment (particularly Movies) both in the studio and on location. He then became a main Presenter of FIVE News where he stayed for several years. Whilst doing this, he also Presented for ITV Sport, ITN News, ITV/LWT (In Good Company), Thomas Cook TV, UKTV, The Money Channel, London TV, The Baby Channel, Eurosport, BMW, Which?, RBS, Cisco and others. He hosted The FIVE Breakfast Show for 3 years which was an hour-long magazine show, on every morning of the week. He then moved to Channel 4 and Princess Productions where he Presented for RI:SE and more recently became a Sky News Presenter. Jonas has over 10 years of experience in front of camera -working across main National channels and also more streamlined digital Channels -as well as numerous Corporate videos and Voiceover work. He has interviewed huge stars, politicians and members of the public from around the World and loves every minute of it.

TV Training

Jonas has been a Tutor at the London Academy and also ran his own course at ETV. He started Presenters Inc with Sally Gray MBE as they had a vision for a company that realised potential in all clients and offered a great service that was superior to anything else out there. They both know what’s involved and what it takes to succeed and they want to pass on that knowledge and experience with a genuine wish to help others. He has taught with Sally for over 4 years now and together they have made the vision a reality. Jonas is a qualified teacher and also runs a Children’s Drama School and Agency, for 300 kids.

Other

Father of 3. At school, played for his County at Football, Cricket, Tennis, Hockey, Squash and England Rugby. He has a Blue from Cambridge University and started the Apache rugby brand/team. Jonas has been a professional musician and singer (see jonasandplunkett.com), he has earned 2 Gold discs and a Double Platinum disc for Absolute Beginners and The Minipops. He also represented Great Britain in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest! He loves acting and has performed in various shows including at the Edinburgh Festival. He loves Films. And loves TV!
